Sealed linear encoders
The glass scale is installed in the aluminum profile. The rubber seals protect from dust and splashes. High protection class allows the use of linear encoders in many branches of industry and science. The choice of glass as a material for the manufacture of scales is due to its durability and lack of changes in accuracy characteristics during operation. All modern CNC machine tools or 3D coordinate measuring machines are equipped with this type of linear encoder.
- Incremental and Absolute
- New profile shape and readhead design with a LED
- Measuring range up to 3190 mm
- Resolution up to 0.1 µm
- High hardness housing
- Easy to install
Exposed linear encoders
The readhead moves along the measuring scale without physical contact with it. Depending on the operating conditions, it may be necessary to install a housing to protect the device from external influences.
- The magnetic scale with back adhesive tape
- Incremental
- Measuring range up to 50000 mm
- Resolution up to 1 µm
- Accuracy up to ±20 µm/m
Linear Gauges
Gauges with a rod, which are used in the contact measurement method, are a modern digital analogue of a well-known dial indicator. A spring-loaded rod with a corundum tip is mechanically connected to a linear guide located in the device body, on which, in turn, a glass scale is fixed.
- Incremental and Absolute
- Incremental Linear Gauges with a stroke of 10 to 40 mm, Resolution is from 0.1 to 10 µm
- absolute Linear Gauges with a stroke of 10 mm. Resolution is 0.5 or 1 µm
- Absolute optional interface: SSI, Modbus ASCII, Modbus RTU.
